DDDDDDDDDROP THE BASS

Let's talk about
ILLUMINATED

RAAAAAAVVVEEEE!!!! *fist bumps to the beat* This episode was quite literally a party. To be honest, not much happened and it was a little slow but it was FUN!! You can't say you didn't grin when Allison admitted she was frustrated (sexually) and let Isaac paint her, or when Lydia was calmly standing by judging everyone while they were getting it on.
The rave was put on by Danny with the help of the newly good boys, Ethan and Aiden. They opened Derek's loft up for the party, seeing as Derek was out of town being attacked by demons without Peter (Where was PETER?!?! I need my sass). Derek eventually came home to break it up, but not before loads of ish happened. Also, props if you noticed when Derek crashed the party the song said "drop the bass" right before Derek threw the DJ table. It was hilarious.

At school that same day (THEY GO TO SCHOOL?!!??), Scott decided he wanted to talk to Kira about her supernaturalness. Stiles deeply disapproved but Scott went ahead anyways. Kira then told him that she had a problem taking selfies, mainly because of the fox ghost surrounding her at all times. They then went on a mission to delete the pictures that Barrow had taken of her on her phone that was in the police station. They were successful and the whole thing was kind of pointless, except when Stiles was trying to stall Agent McCall. Stiles told him that he knew something about him that McCall didn't want getting out. Spoooky... and exciting!!! Scott, Kira, and Stiles then went to the rave. They weren't going to stay but Stiles started making out with someone and that doesn't happen often so they stayed. Scott and Kira were holding hands and Allison gave then the nod of approval. I mean... how could she not? They are adorable and she already has a hunk of her own to get down with.

At the same time as all this grooving taking place, there were firefly demons attacking all our favorite people in Beacon Hills! They attacked Isaac at the end of last week and continued on their path of destruction by snagging Derek, Ethan, Lydia, and Aiden. Their attacks were executed by surrounding the victim, slamming their door, stunning them, and leaving a backwards 5 (a 2?) right behind the victims left ear. The firefly demons came to the party at Derek's loft where they attacked Ethan and Lydia. It looked like they wanted to attack Danny but were strangely afraid of him. When Derek came to break up the party, the firefly demons stayed for the after party, which consisted of them fighting the werewolf type people there. The firefly demons were completely winning but evaporated when the sun came up. Mr. Argent is afraid they are after him because he has one of their masks in a treasure chest. I'm not sure if this means he is one of them or if he killed one of them. All I know is that he returned home bloody and faint. I have some questions for that man.

The only other storyline present this episode was Stiles. We were apparently supposed to assume that Barrow had not left the message to kill Kira on the chalk board, but that someone had left it their for him. That person was Stiles. Stiles found a mysterious key on his key ring (did it look like it changed to you, because it sure did to me). He didn't really think much of it until Caitlin, the chemistry genius, was making out with him and noticed it had phosphorus on it. Stiles realized the connection between the key and chemicals and rushed to the school. Sure enough, the key opened up the chemical supply room and Stiles' handwriting matched the numbers on the chalkboard. I don't want to say I call it but... I CALLED IT. Stiles is doing bad things without him knowing. What he really needs is a little bit of loving from his love, Lydia.
FFFFFEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Have a Wolftastic Wednesday :D

The Best Episode Ever

OMG!!!!!!!! GALVANIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I freaking LOVED this episode!!! It was perfect on all accounts. Seriously, there is nothing you could say about it that would change my mind... NOTHINGGGGG. I can easily say it is my favorite with Motel California close behind. It was as perfect as Scott and Kira, Stiles and Lydia, and Isaac (he is fine alone). Let's dig right in, just like Kate dug right into Allison's intestines :)

Derek and Peter's storyline continued to be allusive and strange, leaving us with many questions. They were back in town with their wooden container that ended up containing Talia's claws. Peter sucked (?) them into his fingers and stabbed Derek in the backbone. This caused Derek to go into a trance where he saw Talia as a full-fledged wolf standing on the nemeton. He presumably talked to her but we did not get to hear the conversation. Instead we got to see Derek wake up from his trance looking very panicked and worried. This made me very panicked and worried... And where the heck is Cora?!? (A: Filming Reign)

The main storyline this episode was surrounding William Barrow, a bomber that killed four kids because he saw their eyes glow. He needed surgery and they, of course, sent him right into the arms of the best nurse in town, Mama McCall.
It's true.
They begin surgery, but as they started they notice a tumor that proceeded to pop and spew flies all over the room. LIVE flies. While this was happening Barrow woke up from his anesthesia and escaped to Beacon Hills High School... how convenient. He used chemicals to mask his scent and eventually left the school, but not before he wrote the atomic number for Potassium, Iodine, and Radium on the chalk board. And not before this nightmare waiting to happen...

Meanwhile, the gang was looking for Barrow in the school but had no luck. Lydia kept hearing a buzzing and was sure it meant that Barrow was near. When they couldn't find him anywhere, her confidence was shaken. Good thing Stiles was around to reassure her. This was truly the most beautiful scene ever with MAJOR Stydia feels. Not only was it nice but also super clever. Stiles had different colored yarn, with red standing for unsolved. The entire scene Lydia was wrapping the red yarn around her fingers showing that she truly is a mystery that they haven't solved. But then you had Stiles start unravelling the yarn from her fingers showing that it's okay that they don't understand her powers, they still trust her.
Through this touching scene Stiles realized that Barrow had probably used chemicals to mask his scent and they went to the school to prove it. There Lydia found the atomic numbers and discovered they were a code for KIRA, Barrow's intended victim.

During all this craziness, Allison and Isaac were trying to find something about flies in the bestiary. They were incredibly unsuccessful mainly because they were too busy taking their shirts off for each other. This scene was honestly the funniest thing I have ever seen on television. When Mr. Argent came in I lost it, and when he said, "Allison can I talk to you in my office, WHERE I KEEP MY GUNS", I may have died.
At the same time, Scott was having a sushi/pizza party at Kira's house. This whole storyline was really cute and so fresh. On a show like this, when they introduce new couples and characters it can sometimes feel like been their, done that. I feel none of that with Scira and love it.

While leaving Kira's house, Scott was almost killed by Barrow who then stole Kira. Scott woke up to Stiles and Lydia telling him that Kira had been Barrow's target all along. Lydia thought she knew where Barrow had taken Kira but couldn't figure out where until Stiles told her to scream. She  gave it her best shot and was then able to figure out that Barrow and Kira were at a power substation (my favorite hangout). They rushed to go save her but were ultimately too late. Barrow had already tied up Kira and was in the process of electrocuting her when Scott ran in. Little did Scott and Barrow know that Kira can absorb energy. She killed Barrow and absorbed all the electricity in Beacon Hills right in front of Scott. I knew I liked her.

Other noteworthy moments in this episode were Ethan and Aiden trying to join Scott's pack. Scott turned them down which lead to a discussion on whether or not he is the hottest girl in school. Isaac eagerly agreed, leading to a very adorable Scisaac moment. Also the best quote of the episode from Ethan, "Dead is still better than being in high school". I totally agree... And of course, our cliff-hanger. Isaac was alone in Allison's room when the three firefly creatures appeared and attacked him. I am predicting that maybe the creatures are the dead emissaries from the Alpha pack's old packs. I can't remember if the twins ever had a pack, but if they did that means one emissary could be alive (Jennifer, Jennifer, JENNIFER).

I have given up trying to blog about an episode the day after it airs. I'm sorry to my faithful readers, but you can expect the post by no later than Friday that week. Have a WOLFTASTIC weekend :D

More Like "More Good Than Bad"

I'm sorry it has taken me so darn long to write this review. In my defense, my school had exams this week and they were very stressful, much like...
More Bad Than Good

We started this episode with Peter and Derek still tied up in a torture chamber of sorts. There was a disturbing Hispanic couple there asking about a Shewolf (Cora?). They really wanted to know and eventually cut off Peter's finger which was disgusting. Later, there was a gun battle upstairs and low-and-behold "The Girl" runs downstairs to save Derek and Peter. I had so many questions but my confusion tripled when she said that Deucalion had hired her to save them... WHAAA....WHATTTTT??!?!!?? Anyways... She saved them and they went into the house and took some sort of wooden container with the werewolf trinity on it. I have so many questions... But can I add that Derek was looking seriously F-I-N-E this episode. Someone obviously took my advice and when to the spa.

The trio of suicide teens are still experiencing their minds going crazy. This included Allison having a hallucination of Kate EATING HER INNARDS!!!!!!!! Jeff Davis obviously agrees that Kate will forever be a creeper that preys on teenagers. I'm also really curious to know what Allison does while in a trance. We always know where she ends up, but how does she get there.
We also had more Scott and Kira (I'm thinking of calling them Scira, pronounced sk-ear-uh), who I think are adorable and beautiful. The moment with Kira's dad was perfect and if they don't get together soon it will be an injustice to my soul. For once Scott isn't the goofy one making a fool out of himself and I love it. Our little boy has finally grown up. In this episode, we had Scott trying to learn how to roar to turn Malia back into a human with the help of the twins. They really didn't help much and just beat the crap out of Scott because of his "performance issues". I laughed at that for quite some time...
Stiles was on point this episode, especially with Isaac's scarves. That whole bit was such a nod to the fans it made me so happy. We also saw Stiles saving Lydia and it was a truly beautiful moment. All I have to say is STYDIA IS REAL!!!!

And finally what the episode was really about... the Werecoyote/Malia. Stiles and Scott found her cave and concluded that I was right :) Malia had transformed while her mom was driving, resulting in a crash and the death of her mom and younger sister. Malia was running all over town looking for the baby doll Stiles had stolen from the car wreck and it was causing chaos everywhere. The gang was looking for her in the woods so that Scott could roar her back into a human. Little did they know Malia's father was putting traps all over the woods and Isaac and Lydia both got stuck in one. The father was also running around the woods with a gun trying to shoot Malia. Allison took care of him by shooting him with horse tranquilizer (WHICH WASN'T MENTIONED EVER AGAIN, LIKE APPARENTLY HE GETS SHOT WITH TRANQUILIZERS ON A REGULAR BASIS AND DIDN'T QUESTION IT... this irritated me). Stiles figured out that the baby doll that Malia was trying to retrieve was her sisters, and she was trying to put it at the car wreck where her sister had died, sort of like flowers at a grave. Scott met Malia at the car and howled at her until she turned into a beautiful young woman. Malia and her father were reunited (AND HER FATHER DIDN'T ASK THE SHERIFF WHO HAD SHOT HIM WITH TRANQUILIZER), and it was very nice.

I really liked this episode, but it was very... confusing. Not in the sense that I didn't know what was going on (although I had my moments), but in a "this is a TV show" way. What I mean is, I was very confused as to why they seemed to wrap up a lot of story lines so soon. First we had a some-what conclusion with Malia and her seemingly (and understandably) crazy father. Then we had the trio all overcoming some form of their insanity with Scott transforming, Stiles reading, and Allison shooting. I'm sure we haven't seen the end of this but still... Why add a kind-of resolution so soon? Also, we saw the Sheriff closing the door on Agent McCall which I assume means that that case is closed. It was all very... odd. I still loved the episode, it was just weird. Although the weirdest part of the episode was by far at the end when a hooded figure (please be Jennifer, please be Jennifer, please be Jennifer) approached the nemeton and pulled out a sprout, allowing all the people-forming fireflies to escape (?????!!?!?!??!!!!????). Whatever... At this point I have given up on predicting what will happen on Teen Wolf. Have a Wolftastic Moonday :D

Rae Uoy Mraedngi?

via TeenWolfInstinct

Let's

talk
about...
A
N
C
H
O
R
S

We FINALLY have what we all were waiting for... THE TEEN WOLF PREMIERE!!!!!!! It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. By more, I mean it was much more frightening than I would have thought; at least at the beginning. That brings me to the first person I would like to discuss...

Stiles
We started the episode with Stiles dreaming about terribly scary things. He would wake up only to still be dreaming. This happened numerous times, even once where he woke up with Lydia in his bed (I died from a large case of feels).
Then when you thought he was finally awake at school talking to Scott *BOOM* He was back in bed screaming himself awake. Once Stiles was finally awake (we think...) he kept having hallucinations at school. These involved not being able to read (LIKE IN DREAMS!!!) and having an entire class sign 'When is a door not a door?' very creepily to him. After talking to Deaton, Stiles and Scott discovered that there is a door ajar in their minds that needs to be closed for them to regain sanity. Let's just say Stiles is not well...

Scott
Scott spent his entire morning thinking he was going to shift until he finally did, proving he doesn't have control over his werewolfiness anymore. Scott also found out his father is still in town on a mission to fire Sheriff Stilinski, which made him VERY angry. Just before he was about to huff and puff and blow into a werewolf, Mama McCall told Scott to become his own anchor to stay human. I really loved this part because it showed that Allison isn't the only thing that keeps Scott a human and not a killing machine. Maybe she was at first, but not anymore.
Also, we saw Scott and Stiles trying to help the Sheriff solve one final case involving a car crash, coyote attack, and the missing body of a girl named Malia. This lead them on a trip through the woods where Scott came face to face with a coyote/wolf/fox that glowed its eyes at him. Scott believes that the coyote is Malia and I agree. Her eyes were blue suggesting she had killed an innocent. My prediction is that she was a werecoyote(?) before the car accident and accidentally caused it. She then would have killed her family unintentionally and escaped the wreak. The Sheriff talked to Malia's dad and he seemed pretty sketchy so I'm thinking there is a lot more of this story coming.

Allison
Welcome back Creepy Kate! We soooo did NOT miss you!! Yup, Allison is being haunted by Kate and it is beyond terrible. Her mind is transporting her to places in a different way from Stiles. Allison's body is going about it's business in real life while her mind is a totally different place. This lead to her somehow getting to school while mind was in a broken-down hospital, and her almost shooting Lydia in the head while in the woods. Allison also had a dream about kissing Issac... until Kate appeared to say "Let's do him together" and killed him. At this point I don't even have to look for ways that she is a creep. Allison woke up from that dream on a bed with Lydia, only to find a knife in her hand. At the rate we are going, it looks like Allison just might kill Lydia this season.

Other things that happened included the introduction to Kira who I really enjoyed. She was a fresh face that Scott obviously enjoyed just as much as I. (I TOTALLY ship this). She and her dad didn't seem evil at all, although I'm still waiting for the old Asian dude. I did find it slightly disturbing when Allison asked what the last stage of Bardo was and Kira replied SUPER cheerily, "Death :)".
Also, we discovered that Derek and Peter are chained up and being tortured somewhere. This is a bit of a long shot, but maybe they are being held captive by Cora and her people. It would make sense seeing as we know barely any of her history. Maybe she was sent to get Derek and Peter by the people she was with for five years. This also doesn't make sense because of everything that happened in S3A and the fact that they are family, although that didn't stop Peter from killing his niece.

All in all this was a fantastic episode and a great way to start off the new batch of Teen Wolf!! It looks like this season is going to be a whole new,100x scarier ball game. Have a WOLFTASTIC weekend :D

Nice job if you figured out what the title is supposed to say.................................................

What Does The Fox... Kill?

So what is a... KITSUNE?!?!?!?!

In light of the season premiere tomorrow I decided to do a little research on Beacon Hills newest critter, the Kitsune. A large part of the Japanese mythology, the Kitsune is believed to be a fox with magical abilities including transforming into a human form. Some other powers include...
  • Mouths and tails that can produce fire or lightning
  • Going into someones dreams
  • Flight and invisibility (everyones dream)
  • The ability to change time and space (*cough cough* time lord *cough*)
  • and I quote, "the creation of illusions so elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality", and they can "drive people mad".
That is the big one seeing as the entire season looks like it's going to be one big hallucination.

I also found that they can posses people, usually women, and when they transform into a human it is usually into the form of a young women or older man. Kira does not seem very innocent anymore. Still beautiful... but...

Also, this dude...

(I feel harsh things towards him because he wants to kill Stiles, something I'm NOT okay with.)

Also one more large thing to add; there are thirteen different kinds of Kitsunes but the one that stood out to me was the kitsune corresponding with the Void or darkness. The old dude pictured above said something about a void in the promo which makes me wonder if there will be more than one kitsune in town; a good and a bad. My prediction is that Kira is good and this creepy man (or old dude) is bad.

There is also everything about demons which I don't even want to get into because...I just...ugh....no.... Welp, have a WOLFTASTIC premiere day!!! and it was nice knowing you because I will probably die tomorrow :D

P.S. The article that I got most of my info from is linked here mythicalcreaturesguide.com/page/Kitsune. It was very interesting and helpful; I would encourage you to read it.

Average Dysfunctional Werewolf Family Pt.3

The Mysterious Cora

Cora Hale a bit of a mystery to the Teen Wolf community. We know that she is Derek's other sister and that she has spent the last couple years of her life looking for him. In the process of looking, Cora was captured by the alpha pack and held captive for three months. She was then part of the race through the woods and finally subdued by Derek in the school. Cora later gets a severe head wound that won't heal and Derek gives up his alpha status to save her. The season ends with her and Derek leaving town to collect information.
I hope in S3B we will find out much more about Cora. She is very interesting and, of course, sassy. I genuinely enjoyed having her around in S3A, but I feel that we need to know more about her and where exactly she was from the time of the fire to her finding Derek for Cora to stick around as a real character. There is also the large point of Reign, Adelaide Kane's new TV show on the CW. If that is renewed we probably won't be seeing much more of Cora (tear...). This is like Colton/Jackson all over again; even with the same network!!!!
I hope the best for Adelaide/Cora whatever may happen, but selfishly hope she stays on Teen Wolf. Have a Wolftastic weekend :D
So beautiful... Of course she's a Hale... (This picture is from Reign, which is actually a pretty good show although totally historically inaccurate.)

Average Dysfunctional Werewolf Family Pt.2

Good Ol' Uncle Peter... (not really)

Now don't get me wrong... I love Peter. He is possibly the sassiest Hale family member in existence. But on top of that, he is the cause of all Derek's problems. Peter is the one who convinced Derek to turn his love into a werewolf, killed his own niece (Derek's sister), and murdered multiple people in town which Derek then got blamed for. Plus, when Derek thought he had finally gotten rid of Peter by killing him, Peter resurrected himself with the help of Lydia. Peter didn't appear to be much of a problem in S3A until the very end... when he slashed Jennifer's throat and yelled, "I'M THE ALPHA. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE ALPHA," not exactly warm words. There is also the slightly chilling line from Jennifer before she died, "Everyone else suffers. But somehow, you come out on top". This makes me believe that the Peter we saw S3A was just waiting for the right time to make his next move and take control again. It's quite a shame because I liked Nice (but still sassy) Peter.

Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the people Peter killed S1 (minus Derek's sis)  were all people that played a hand in slaughtering his whole family. They were not random citizens of Beacon Hills; they were accomplices. That being said... did they deserve to die? No. Go to jail? Yes. Kate, on the other hand, NEEDED to die.

Well... I'll be talking about Cora very soon and then THE SEASON PREMIERE!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHAHHHHHHAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I am very excited as you can see, have a Wolfy New Year :D
